Volunteers

Volunteers are often the people who make an event!

They’re the people our participants see out on the course cheering them on, they’re those lifesavers at the checkpoint helping fill up their water bottles or the superstars placing a medal around their neck at the finish line.

Volunteers are a big part of the events at Race Harborough and we want all of our volunteers to feel valued and part of the Race Harborough team.

You can volunteer at any of our events.

In return for offering your services as a volunteer you will receive credit on Let’s Do This which can be used against any future Race Harborough event. The credit will be applied to your email address post-race and will be issued as follows:

• Up to 3 hours volunteering – £20 credit
• Up to 6 hours volunteering – £35 credit
• 6+ hours volunteering – £50 credit

If you are tail walking or pacing at an event, instead of receiving credit, you will receive free entry for the event at which you’re tail walking or pacing.

We will provide all volunteers with a hi-viz jacket and lanyard on arrival. You’ll also receive bundles of appreciation from our participants for helping them to achieve their goals!

Details of what is required for the role will be communicated in the run up to the event via email. On the day communication will take place through a WhatsApp group.
